Arpino is located in Frosinone which is in the Lazio region of Italy, 1hr 30mins south of Rome.

An ancient city, Arpino Dates back to the 7th century BC. Rich with history, Arpino can proudly say it is a Orange flag town or (Bandiera arancione), which is a status granted by the Italian touring club.

People are friendly and the local bars and restaurants have a great vibe of an evening which reminds you that your away from the normal hustle and bustle of life.

Walking is by far the best way to see Arpino and you can find some great sites through the winding streets and really get a flavour and way of Italian life. Enjoy the perfect Mediterranean weather as you and your friends explore and soak up the Italian sun. For myself this was one of the main factors of buying a home, the pace of life and complimenting climate ensures you can feel great during the day and well into the evening. I recommend visiting the wine bars in the main piazza for an evening drink at real treat to finish the day.

Houses are grade listed and can only be painted one of four colours to preserve and maintain the style that has kept Arpino a traditional and established town.

Churches, family run restaurants and other local businesses are dotted around through the winding streets so you always come across a hidden treasure. Don’t forget your camera, being situated 1,467 ft with surrounding valleys below and great sunsets it is a photographer’s dream.
